The world has changed drastically with the onset of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), so it’s understandable that many of us will struggle with our mental health with increased levels of stress and anxiety. Thanks to our partners, the Henry’s Foundation is able to provide several tips and resources to help you take care of your mental health, so you can take care of your physical health.
Social distancing does not mean social isolation. During uncertain times, it’s important to maintain our social connections. You are not alone.
We are all in this together.
Check information sources once a day and ensure they are reliable.
Arrange a virtual meeting with friends, family and co-workers. Make sure you check in with the most vulnerable and those who may be struggling.
Maintain your daily routine as much as possible. Keep a consistent sleep schedule and wake up at the same time everyday.
Find a quiet place to work in your home. Set aside specific work hours and ensure you take regular breaks.
Exercise earlier in the day. Bike, run, walk and stretch.
Don't be too hard on yourself. No one is perfect and this is new to everyone. We are all in this together.
